Struggling to decide or commit to your decision?

You’re tired of feeling like you’re just not happy with your life abroad and you can’t imagine feeling like this for years to come. So there you are –

stuck and unsure about what to do

unsure about where you should move to feel fulfilled

looking for confirmation that you’re making the right decision

The worst part is that you’re probably trying to figure out what would be the right thing to do in your head all by yourself, because trying to figure it out with friends or family just makes you feel even more confused.

Meanwhile, there *are* things that you really appreciate about your life abroad, right? Things that you haven’t had the luxury to experience before.

So it’s hard for you to know what you’re willing to sacrifice when that other country doesn’t have those same perks (but it does have all those other things that you’ve been missing for a while, I know…).

And around and around in your head you go.

Hi, I'm Katherine, a clarity coach for expats and a former serial expat of 15 years

Whether you can’t decide whether to stay or go, where to settle down or whether you should move back home, the truth is that you are not doomed to feeling this anxious and confused every day.

It is absolutely possible for you to feel content with your life and at ease that you’re making the right decision to live abroad, move back home or even to a new destination.

It’s my mission to help you discover what it is that you need and how to make it happen, wherever that may be.

I’ll be your sounding board for all your fears and concerns, so you can find the same kind of clarity that helped me find *the place* where I could finally unpack my things and feel at home.

I wanted to talk everything through and have a sounding board as I was making the decision alone. Working through all aspects with Katherine really made me feel so much more confident than before. My whole mindset around the move is now relaxed and I’m excited for what the future holds. I’m also far more comfortable now informing others about my decision!

My signature coaching method

The path to clear answers
and an action plan

Following my step-by-step process will help you *finally* decide whether you should stay or go. I will guide you to deep insight into what you need to feel satisfied in life and support you with figuring out all the practical stuff  (career, finances, timing etc.). Most importantly, it won’t take you forever to cut through the confusion and make *the right decision*

Step 1 - Reviewing your experience abroad

We look at how your life abroad has shaped you, what's working and what is not, to identify what you're missing and what you need to feel content in life.

Step 2 - Laying the foundation

As long as you don't know what you want, it doesn't matter what you decide. It'll still be a random choice. At this point, we get clear on what you want the most and what you need to feel fulfilled.

Step 3 - Cutting out the noise

After realizing what you want, it's crucial that we eliminate all the noise that's making it difficult for you to commit to a decision. We work through conflating factors, incompatible needs and figure out a strategy to help you get what you want.

Step 4 - Moving forward

In this final step, I support you in dealing with the practicalities of (finding) work, logistics, finances, difficult family relations, starting from scratch and fear of change, all depending on the unique challenges you need support with.

P.S. My coaching method

is not right for you if...

❌ you would rather keep wondering about what you should do than take action and find clarity

❌ you believe that making changes will only make things worse

❌ living a life that’s just ‘okay’ but not ‘great’ is good enough for you

I can tell when potential clients are not ready to make necessary changes in their life. That is completely okay in my book because getting to the point where enough is enough can take time. And I will be there for you when you *are* ready.

But you will love working with me

If you are ready...

to say goodbye to the status quo and feel constant anxiety around what you should do

to realize what kind of changes you need to make so you can get what you want in life and where you may need to accept things you can’t change

to look for solutions rather than obstacles because you believe that there is a solution to every problem or challenge

✅ to be uncomfortable for a while as you make these changes, with me by your side, supporting you and cheering you along the way

✅ to watch your hopes become a reality because you were brave enough to take action

This was exactly what I needed! I didn’t realize that I don’t have to worry about where my life is headed if I’m really enjoying my life abroad. There’s no need to put pressure on myself to have my next steps figured or to think about settling down if I’m enjoying my life as it is.

Feel in control of your life again!

01

You don’t have to figure things out all on your own – you can rely on me, someone who’s been where you’re at for far longer than was necessary. And the best part? I’ve figured out a path to clarity that has worked over and over again. All you need to do? Apply the steps to your situation.

02

When you don’t know where all this is going, where you will be in a few years’ time and how to make a messy decision with a lot of parts to it then what you need is a structured approach to understanding your situation. That’s why I take you through a step-by-step process and help you see what you need to do.

03

It’s easy to feel alone and like no one else is struggling with the same feelings and worries as you. All of my clients report feeling like they’re not alone anymore after they’ve shared their dilemma with me. Many before you have been where you’re at and still come out the other side happier than ever.

Katherine has a lot of experience working with other expats going through the same challenges. There really are a myriad of factors to consider, some more important than others. Katherine provided a clear and structured framework for me, in which to gain clarity and separate the real fears from the imagined ones. I felt validated in what I was thinking and feeling. After I made my decision, I felt confident and happy, having all that mental space cleared from having to think “stay or go” all the time.

Soon-to-be repat

Say goodbye to...

Not knowing what you want

An end to confusion and overwhelm from not knowing what you want and what's most important to take into consideration.

Focusing on the wrong things

No more going in circles and feeling lost about what you should do, all the while not moving any closer to clarity.

Hoping things will get better

Missing opportunities and unintentionally holding yourself back from making changes that will make you so much happier (abroad or back home).

And say hello to...

Feeling in control

Know what steps are important to take to find clarity and what you need to focus on in your decision-making.

Having a clear plan

Know how to manage your fears, eliminate limiting beliefs and plan for necessary changes.

Feeling confident

Know exactly what you want, why you want it and where in the world you can actually feel at home and at ease (even on the bad days).

This was a really rewarding experience for me – Katherine dived deep into my world, I learned so much about myself, and I ended up being really confident in my decision, even if going through a big change is a bit scary.

MY STORY
Hi, I'm Katherine!

I’m a former serial expat (15 yrs), a happy repat (2 yrs) and an expert on change.

Even though I’ve spent my entire professional and academic life working with change, innovation and uncertainty, at some point I lost the plot in my personal life and I spent years agonizing over whether I should stay or go (and if so, where) because I was terrified of making the wrong choice.

The worst part was that instead of talking to someone to find clarity I simply continued to go around in circles in my head. That’s until I finally had enough.

Drawing from my professional experience, I created a step-by-step process that helped me figure out what I wanted so I could finally feel at home somewhere. The right answer for me turned out to be repatriation, a decision that I haven’t regretted even once.

I’ve since turned my process into a signature coaching method so that you won’t have to figure things out all on your own. It’s my mission to help you find clarity and confidence in your decision so that you can finally feel at home somewhere in this world as well.
